Sana'a: The Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee in the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Nuqib, inspected on Sunday the level of work discipline at the Security Department and several executive offices on the second day of official working hours following the Eid al-Adha holiday. Al-Nuqib's visit aimed to assess performance and discipline, especially during the crucial post-holiday period.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Nuqib reviewed the operations at the Security Department, discussing with Security Director Major General Ma'mar Haraash the ongoing efforts to enhance security performance and measures to consolidate stability, particularly during the Eid holiday. The inspection highlighted the commitment at the Criminal Investigation Department, where Brigadier General Abdul Jabbar Al-Ahrari briefed them on performance and security alertness during the holiday period.
Both officials commended the security personnel for their dedication in maintaining security and stability, emphasizing the importance of heightened security vigilance and rapid response to citizen reports and complaints, which are considered vital for successful security operations.
In a related inspection, Al-Nuqib, alongside Ali Al-Rahbi and other directors, evaluated the performance at the Traffic Police and the Unified Automated Issuance Complex for Police Services. They praised the successful implementation of the traffic plan during the Eid holiday and commended the traffic personnel for effectively managing traffic flow, particularly in high-traffic areas such as parks and recreational zones.
The officials stressed the importance of fostering a strong relationship between security and traffic personnel and the community, underscoring mutual respect and adherence to the law as key components of effective security measures.
Further inspections included a visit to the Yemen Oil Company branch, where Al-Nuqib and his colleagues were updated on attendance rates and work commitment by deputy directors Abdullah Al-Sunbani and Mohammed Shamshan. They also reviewed the operations at the Planning Sector, where they were informed by Dr. Abdul Wahab Sharaf Al-Din about performance and adherence to working hours post-Eid.
The Chairman lauded the discipline and performance of both the Oil Company and Planning Sector teams, urging continued efforts to enhance administrative and technical performance, thereby improving services to citizens.
