Sana'a:An intellectual seminar titled "The September 21 Revolution: A Review of Local, Regional and International Developments" was held at the Al-Shawkani Institute for Teacher Training in Sana'a Province.

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was led by Institute Dean Yahya Al-Zaydi, who stated that the revolution exemplified the Yemeni people's rejection of foreign intervention and contributed to a revival of national and religious values. Al-Zaydi also discussed the security challenges that existed prior to the revolution, including violence, bombings, assassinations, and attacks on security and military facilities, as well as mosques.

Al-Zaydi emphasized the importance of enhancing students' intellectual and cultural awareness while promoting educational activities that address national and regional issues.

Cultural activist Osama Al-Mahthouri spoke about the political and intellectual factors that influenced the 2014 revolution, noting that Yemen's decision-making had previously been under foreign influence. He pointed out that subsequent developments led to a new political and military landscape, with Sana'a emerging as an influential player in Yemeni and regional affairs, particularly concerning the Palestinian cause.

Al-Mahthouri encouraged deriving lessons from historical events to bolster cultural and national awareness among students.
