Mahweet: Mahweet governorate Security Department, in coordination with the Summer Programs Subcommittee, launched on Saturday the Ministry of Interior's awareness activities in summer programs under the slogan "Our Security is Our Responsibility." The aim is to enhance security and cultural awareness among students and instill values of discipline and social responsibility.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the launch, attended by Province Undersecretary Hussein Arkad and Assistant Director of Governorate Security Colonel Ali Ibrahim, governorate's mobilization officer Ismail Sharaf al-Din emphasized the importance of awareness activities accompanying the summer programs in developing the awareness of children and youth, and enhancing their understanding of the dangers and challenges targeting society. This contributes to their intellectual and behavioral fortification and the consolidation of values of responsibility and discipline.
He pointed out that the summer courses represent an important educational and developmental opportunity to refine students' skills and develop their abilities, instill faith-based and patriotic values in them, and strengthen their spirit of cooperation, belonging, and national identity. These courses also raise their security and cultural awareness, thus enhancing their positive role in serving the community and maintaining its security and stability.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Shihab Amer, Director of Moral Guidance, affirmed that the awareness program accompanying the summer courses includes lectures, guidance sessions, and targeted educational programs that contribute to promoting positive behavior among students, raising awareness of the dangers of rumors and soft warfare, and the importance of cooperating with security agencies in maintaining security and stability. This program also aims to solidify the concepts of faith-based identity and Quranic culture in the hearts of children and youth.
He noted the keenness of the Ministry of Interior and the governorate leadership to support awareness and educational programs and activities aimed at protecting future generations from destructive ideas and misguided cultures, and developing their sense of responsibility, discipline, and community awareness. This contributes to strengthening social cohesion, consolidating the foundations of security and stability, and serving the interests of the nation and society.
