Sanaa: The Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulkarim Amiruddin Al-Houthi, inspected the workflow of the General Directorate of Public Funds Investigation and the services provided by the department.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Interior Minister listened to an explanation from the Director of Public Funds Investigation, Brigadier General Yousef Al-Qasimi, about the level of achievements made and the services provided. Discussions also covered the practical and technical aspects related to the department’s performance.
The Interior Minister was briefed on the department’s role in combating public funds crimes and its contribution to the preservation of public money and state property. He praised the efforts of the department’s staff in executing their tasks.
Brigadier Al-Qasimi expressed his appreciation for the Ministry’s leadership, highlighting the support in developing systems and programs that have accelerated achievement and improved performance. He emphasized the department’s commitment to enforcing regulations and combating crimes targeting public funds for the benefit of the nation and its citizens.
The Director of Public Funds Investigation conveyed his gratitude for the Minister’s visit, noting it reflects a commitment to follow up on the progress of work across departments, overcome challenges, ensure service quality, and enhance efforts to protect public funds.
