Sana'a: The Ministry of Interior announced the execution of a high-profile security operation that resulted in the arrest of a spy network linked to a joint operations room between the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Israeli Mossad, and Saudi intelligence, based in Saudi Arabia.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that this significant security achievement was made possible, after investigations, surveillance, and monitoring operations that uncovered the enemy's plans, the methods of its traitorous agents, and their connections.
The statement from the Ministry elaborates on the operation, named "And the plot of those [evil] will fail," executed in several phases. The operation revealed the involvement of the spy network with a joint operations room coordinating sabotage and espionage efforts against Yemen, operating from Saudi territory. These efforts included the establishment of numerous small cells, each operating independently but linked to the central operations room.
The statement further disclosed that the joint intelligence operations room provided espionage cells with sophisticated surveillance equipment. The criminal cell members were trained on the equipment by American, Israeli, and Saudi officers on Saudi soil, enabling them to monitor Yemeni infrastructure, military, and security structures.
Additionally, the network's activities included gathering information on military manufacturing sites, ballistic missile and drone launch sites, and conducting surveillance on civilian state leaders and military commanders. The cells also contributed to the bloodshed of Yemeni civilians by providing the enemy with coordinates for targeting service facilities, exacerbating Yemen's economic and living conditions.
