International Symposium Explores Impact of Al-Aqsa Flood and Confrontation Options

Sanaa:An international student and youth symposium was recently organized by the University Student Forum in Yemeni universities to discuss the third anniversary of Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood." The event, conducted online, centered on themes such as the strategic and political repercussions of the operation, including its impact on Israeli power and international perspectives.

According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium featured representatives from student and youth unions across Arab, Islamic, and European countries. Discussions highlighted the operation's strategic gains, its effects on Israeli political legitimacy, and the broader implications for global popular movements and resistance efforts.

Participants examined the student movement's role in global action, Yemen's involvement in supporting Jerusalem, and the challenges of media distortion against the operation. They also addressed the operation's impact on the unity of resistance fronts and the broader geopolitical context involving Yemen's defense of Palestinian causes.

Nasr Al-Din Amer, the Chairman of the Yemeni News Agency, emphasized the operation as a turning point, challenging international narratives and highlighting Yemen's active role in confronting major powers. He noted the significance of documenting events in real-time and the ongoing influence of Al-Aqsa Flood in the region.

Other speakers, including Sameh Abu Shaqra of Hamas and Ali Taha of the Islamic Jihad Movement, underscored the operation's transformative impact on the Palestinian struggle and the resilience of Palestinian awareness despite military challenges. They called for sustained unity and action to support Palestinian resistance.

Contributions from international representatives, such as Bakr Sidqi from Turkey and Nadhir Muhammad from Tunisia, further emphasized the global solidarity with Palestine and the need for coordinated efforts across nations to address the challenges posed by the occupation. The symposium concluded with a call for enhanced communication and initiatives to sustain support for the Palestinian cause.
