Lahj: Four thousand bags of cement and 10,000 liters of diesel have been delivered to Lahj province by the Central Emergency Intervention Unit of the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development. This contribution is intended to support community initiative projects focused on roads and water infrastructure.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delivery of these materials is in line with directives from the revolutionary and political leadership, aiming to bolster community initiatives in significant areas such as roads and water. Engineer Badr al-Din al-Tayyar, representative of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit in Lahj, highlighted that this support is part of the unit’s efforts to foster development in partnership with the local populace.
Al-Qubaita Directorate Director Wahid Al-Khodr expressed gratitude towards the Intervention Unit for its support, acknowledging the impact it has on enhancing the directorate’s infrastructure. Similarly, Ibrahim Hamim, Director of Community Initiatives in Lahj, noted that the support is a continuation of the Central Interventions Unit’s ongoing efforts to promote developmental and service-oriented initiatives.
Hamim further explained that collaboration between local communities and the local authority speeds up development projects. He emphasized the importance of roads and water projects, which are prioritized for their direct contribution to improving essential services and fostering a strong partnership with the community.
