Hajjah: The representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Hajjah province, Abdul Wahab, conducted inspections of community initiative projects supported by the Interventions Unit across several districts in the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdul Wahab, accompanied by the supervision and evaluation officer, Engineer Ramah Shamsan, reviewed the progress of the “Al-Raqaa Shamsan” road paving project in Mahabsha district. The project has commenced with the excavation of foundations for water drains in preparation for concrete pouring. They also assessed the expansion and paving progress of the “Al-Qarana” road in the directorate’s center, where rock cutting has been completed to facilitate the road expansion.
Alongside Ahmed Al-Banous, the director of Muftah Directorate, Wahab evaluated the progress of the project aimed at reopening and expanding the “Al-Asimiya – Al-Waliya – Al-Mahnouj” road in the upper Al-Jabr district. Discussions included the requirements needed to support the community effort, particularly maintaining the slitting mechanism used in the project.
Wahab engaged in discussions with the director of Muftah Directorate about the status of community initiatives, their achievement levels, and the challenges hindering the completion of some projects. He emphasized that these visits, spanning the last five days, aim to enhance community involvement in construction and development, especially concerning roads and water.
He affirmed that the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development remains committed to supporting these community initiative projects. The goal is to ensure the continuity and completion of these projects, ultimately providing essential services to citizens and alleviating their suffering.
