TAIZ: The representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Taiz and Lahj provinces, Engineer Badr Al-Din Al-Tayyar, alongside Mustafa Bahjar, the Director of Initiatives in Taiz province, inaugurated the disbursement of the second batch of cement aimed at supporting 16 projects focusing on road infrastructure in Khadir.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch event was attended by several notable figures, including Faris Al-Jaradi, the director of Khdeir district, and Shaalan Abdulkarim, the director of initiatives in the district, as well as representatives from the Khadir Cooperative Association. Engineer Al-Tayyar emphasized that this second batch of cement is part of the intervention unit’s ongoing commitment to assist community-led infrastructure projects, which are essential for enhancing basic services in the region.
The director of Khadir district commended the Central Interventions Unit for its support in infrastructure projects and acknowledged the significant contribut
ion of the local community in these initiatives. He highlighted the importance of expanding such initiatives to reduce the hardships faced by the citizens, particularly in terms of transportation and service delivery.
The Initiatives Director at the Directorate elaborated that the supported projects are specifically targeted at improving road conditions in the areas that are most in need. This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local population by facilitating better access to goods and services.
