Sana'a: Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights condemned the US aggression's targeting of the Farwa neighborhood and market in the Shu'ub District of Sana'a.

According to Yemen News Agency, the organization affirmed that this targeting is a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any way. It also confirms the US aggression's deliberate violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality, which has made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity.

The statement held the US responsible for all crimes committed against civilians, calling for an investigation and criminal accountability for all those proven to be involved in these crimes. Furthermore, it held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which encouraged America to continue committing more war crimes against civilians in Yemen.

The statement renewed its appeal to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all honorable and free people around the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the Yemeni people. It urged them to condemn the horrific crimes committed by the US aggression and to pressure the United Nations, particularly the Security Council, to fulfill their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the war and all forms of aggression.

Additionally, the organization called for the formation of an impartial international investigation committee to investigate all crimes committed by the US aggression against defenseless civilians.
