Sana’a: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sana’a commemorated today the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran with a speech event.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by members of the Supreme Political Council, including Sultan Al-Sama’i and Mohammed Al-Naimi, as well as Secretary of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Yasser Al-Houri. The Mufti of Yemen, Allama Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, extended his highest congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, government, and people, and the Iranian Embassy in Sana’a on the anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution.
He described the Iranian Revolution as a significant gain not only for the Iranian people but for the nation and the free people of the world. He stated, “This revolution inspired the free people of the world with the meanings of independence and liberation from the Zionist, American, and Western imperialist dependence, and God’s law and promise in the victory of his oppressed servants were fulfilled.”
Allamah Sharaf Al-Din highlighted the historical injustices and tyranny in the region, particularly in Iran, noting that “Tehran was a center and a den for American and Israeli espionage, financial, economic, moral, political, and other corruption.” He praised Imam Khomeini as an inspiring leader who provided guidance and contributed to supporting the free people against the American and Zionist project in the region.
The Mufti emphasized the importance of deriving strength and dignity from God, leading to victories and achievements. He stated that Yemen is now part of the axis of resistance against American and Zionist arrogance. He questioned whether silence or flattery is the solution and stressed the need for jihad and unity around the leaders of the resistance.
First Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Muhammad Miftah, also expressed his congratulations to the Iranian people and leadership. He thanked the Iranian ambassador for the invitation to participate in the celebration, acknowledging the impact of the Islamic Revolution in Iran on regional resistance movements.
Sheikh Miftah recounted the influence of the Iranian Revolution in fostering the spirit of resistance across the region, including its impact on Lebanon and Palestine. He praised Iran’s support for the Palestinian resistance, especially during critical battles, and highlighted the country’s readiness to confront global powers.
Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dhaif Allah Rassam, described the Iranian Revolution as the mother of Islamic revolutions. He called upon Yemeni tribes and Arab clans to support the axis of resistance against global Zionism and arrogance.
The event was attended by various officials and leaders from Yemen, including ministers, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and leaders from Ansar Allah. Iranian Ambassador to Sana’a, Ali Rezaei, expressed appreciation for Yemen’s participation in the celebration and reiterated Iran’s desire for regional cooperation and peace.
The celebration featured a poem by Ayza al-Razami, presentations on the achievements of the Iranian revolution, and a tribute to the martyred Mujahid Hajj Qassem Soleimani.
