Iran’s Non-Oil Exports Reach $26 Billion in Six Months

Tehran: Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Mohammad Dehghan Dehavi said on Saturday that the value of his country's non-oil exports during the past six months, starting March 20, 2025, reached $25 billion and 944 million.

According to Yemen News Agency, during a press conference marking the 29th anniversary of National Export Day, Dehghan Dehavi explained that last year was an exceptional and unprecedented year in the history of Iran's non-oil exports, reaching $57 billion, registering a 15.8% growth compared to the previous year.

He added that the value of non-oil exports in the first half of last year amounted to $25 billion and 922 million, while in the first half of this year they reached $25 billion and 944 million, which is approximately the same level in terms of value, but with a weighted increase of 6%.

The head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran explained that the first months of this year witnessed a temporary decline in the pace of exports due to events such as the 12-day Zionist aggression against Iran, the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port, and the energy shortage problem. However, performance improved in the following months, offsetting the initial decline.
