Islamic Jihad Condemns Israeli Aggression on Yemen

Gaza: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has strongly condemned the recent Israeli military actions in Yemen, which were carried out on Thursday evening.

According to Yemen News Agency, the movement issued a statement emphasizing the grave danger posed by Israel's actions in the region. The statement described the attack as a demonstration of power by the Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court. It further accused Israel of attempting to redraw regional maps through force, citing air raids and military actions in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, as well as ongoing conflicts in Gaza and the West Bank.

The Islamic Jihad Movement asserted that such military strikes would not deter the Yemeni people or their armed forces from supporting Palestinian resistance efforts. They claimed that despite the Israeli military's capabilities, it would not be able to prevent Yemeni missiles and drones from targeting Israeli forces.

The statement also highlighted the role of the United States in backing Israel, providing it with political, military, and financial support, which the movement claims allows Israel to continue its actions in violation of international laws and humanitarian norms.

In addition to condemning the aggression, the Islamic Jihad Movement praised the resilience of Yemen's forces in facing Israeli actions. They urged Arab nations to be aware of the implications of the Israeli-American operations in the region, warning that silence or complacency could lead to further consequences. The movement criticized normalization agreements with Israel, suggesting they would not protect those who are complicit or submissive to Israeli actions.
