Sanaa: Yemeni Houthis reported that 26 staff members from local media outlets were among 46 individuals killed in Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday in the capital, Sanaa.
According to Nam News Network, the airstrikes targeted the offices of two newspapers, 26th September and Al-Yemen, located in Tahrir Square, central Sanaa. Despite the destruction, the Houthis stated that the attack would not hinder their media activities.
Houthi-controlled health authorities reported that 165 people were injured in the attack, including women and children. Houthi-run al-Masirah TV broadcasted images of damaged residential areas and rescue workers sifting through the debris.
