Tokyo: Japanese stocks rose in morning trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Friday. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 622.65 points, or 1.21%, to reach 51,948.26 points in the morning session.
According to Yemen News Agency, the broader Topix index also added 12.92 points, or 0.39%, to reach 3,313.71 points.
