JCC signs 3 MoUs to market Jordan’s cooperative societies’ products

Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC) on Wednesday signed three memorandums of understanding (MoU) to serve Jordan's cooperative societies to market their products, develop their capabilities, and train alumni of "Maharatak-Your Skill" Program. The corporation signed memos with Civil Service Consumer Corporation (CSCC), National Centre for Packaging (JOPAC) and "Partners for Good (PfG) ," Company, according to a JCC statement. Meanwhile, according to the 2nd memo, JOPAC and the JCC cooperate in holding scientific seminars and workshops to highlight the latest developments in packaging technology and coordinate joint efforts to train cooperative societies in this field. Speaking during the signing ceremony, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mohammad Hiyari, stressed importance of the three memos for Jordan's cooperative sector, adding that a MoU will enable the Kingdom's cooperative societies to display their products within CSCC markets, which receives a "wide" demand from citizens. This step, he noted, is "important" in creating a new marketing outlet for the cooperative entities. Hiyari also highlighted need to develop cooperative societies' capabilities in the packaging field as an "crucial" way to market their products locally and abroad.
