Al mahwit: The judicial authority in Al Mahwit Governorate held a commemorative event on Sunday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Parliament member Qasim Habish and Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, who highlighted the significance of this occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and drawing lessons from his life and noble example. He urged attendees to follow the Prophet's example as a messenger of justice and humanity, stressing the need to uphold justice, ensure fairness, and lift oppression from the oppressed. He described the Prophet's birth as a pivotal historical event for the Muslim nation, underscoring its role in strengthening faith-based identity and resilience against aggression and hegemonic powers.
Chief Judge of the Al Mahwit Court of Appeal, Akram Al-Alfi, also spoke at the event, reaffirming the connection of Yemenis to the Prophet and his message. He highlighted the necessity of instilling Muhammadan values in younger generations and translating the Prophet's teachings into daily conduct and practice. Al-Alfi praised the efforts of judicial personnel in promoting the values and principles established by the Prophet.
Chief Prosecutor of the Al Mahwit Court of Appeal, Abdul-Bari Al-Wazir, addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of recalling the Prophet's character to tackle challenges facing the Muslim nation. He called for embodying the Prophet's values in practical life and promoting cooperation and solidarity. Al-Wazir also commended community efforts in organizing gatherings and events leading up to the central celebration on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal.
