Hajjah:A "Karayel" armed reconnaissance aircraft belonging to Saudi forces was downed by the Yemeni Armed Forces while conducting operations in the skies over Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the aircraft was targeted by Yemeni air defenses, resulting in its wreckage being spread across the ground after a complete burn upon impact. The Turkish-made aircraft was equipped with advanced electronic systems, surveillance, and imaging devices for reconnaissance and direct tracking, along with a communications unit for data transmission.
The incident occurred in the Al-Tinah area of Hajjah Governorate. Yemeni forces claim the aircraft was engaged in hostile activities when it was brought down using a suitable weapon.
