Khadeer District Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday with Cultural Evening

Khadeer: A cultural and rhetorical evening was held in Dabwan Square, located in the Badu district of Khadir District, Taiz Governorate, to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including the Director General of the District, Faris Al-Jaradi, Governor's Advisors Walid Dirham and Essam Al-Hijri, and the Director of Security, Colonel Essam Sabr. They highlighted the significance of the occasion and the distinct faith of the Yemeni people compared to other Arab and Islamic communities in their devotion to the Prophet of Mercy, Light, and Guidance. Speakers at the event underscored the importance of expressing joy and celebration through various activities, events, and decorations of homes and streets. This expression is seen as a genuine display of love, loyalty, and adherence to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace. They also ad dressed the challenges faced by the nation, attributing issues such as weakness and deviation to a distancing from the Prophet's teachings and the Quranic path. The call was made for a return to the Prophet Muhammad's guidance for the nation's glory, dignity, and success in both this world and the hereafter. The evening included performances of songs celebrating love for the Prophet and his family. Attendees included Abdul Warith Al-Tabai, head of the general mobilization in the Bedouin district, Tawfiq Al-Attab, a member of the local council's administrative body, as well as several executive office directors and social figures.
