Dhamar: Official and tribal efforts in Dhamar Governorate succeeded in concluding a killing case between the Al-Ra'i family from Jahran District and the Al-'Azzi family from West Anas District, which occurred accidentally two weeks ago.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a tribal meeting led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, Shura Council member Hassan Abdulrazzaq, Sheikh Abbas Al-Amdi, and several sheikhs from Jahran and West Anas, the legal guardians of the victim, Muhammad Saleh Al-Ra'i, announced the pardon of the perpetrator, Ahmad Muhammad Al-'Azzi, for the sake of God Almighty and in honor of the attendees.
During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the stance of the legal guardians in showing tolerance and forgiveness to please God Almighty and commended the efforts of all who contributed to resolving the case. He pointed out that pardoning and forgiving when one has the power to retaliate is a characteristic of the noble and a trait of the elevated human spirit.
He noted the cohesion of the people of Dhamar Governorate and their initiatives in resolving disputes and addressing community issues through brotherly methods. He emphasized that this stance translates the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council towards reconciliation and tolerance, ending cases of killing and revenge, and unifying ranks to confront the external enemy.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives urged the consolidation of a culture of tolerance and brotherhood, joining efforts in reconciliation, and enhancing security, stability, and social peace.
Meanwhile, the attendees appreciated the gracious pardon of the legal guardians, which embodies the values of tolerance and the authenticity of the Yemeni tribe.
