Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya led the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU) foreign ministers held in Brussels, Belgium. According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting reviewed the relations between the countries, cooperation and coordination between the GCC and EU, exploring ways to further enhance and develop these ties. The statement added that discussions also included the review of agenda items and recommendations to be presented to the leaderships at the first GCC-EU summit, scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Brussels. Both sides also discussed their shared commitments, principles, and strategic partnership goals, regional and international developments and the current situation in the region.
