Kuwait's security leadership commits to further bolstering cooperation and coordination among various public and private bodies to weigh all overtures purposed to ensure smooth traffic nationwide, said a senior official Sunday. The proposals embrace creative engineering notions pertinent to roads and intersections, awareness, education or even strict penalties, said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieut. Gen. Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in a press statement following a meeting of the Supreme Traffic Council. During the meeting, Sheikh Salem Nawaf conveyed the greetings of First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to the council's members, urging them to seek to find scientific and concrete solutions to traffic bottlenecks in the country. Proposals and recommendations aiming at revamping and overhauling public transport services were also explored during the meeting, the ministry's media office said in a press release.
