Lahj: Lahj Governor Ahmed Turki Al-Juraib has reaffirmed the unwavering unity of Yemen, describing it as a destiny chosen by the Yemeni people, maintained through decades of sacrifice and struggle.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Juraib highlighted the ongoing covert efforts by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to undermine Yemeni unity since its historic formation. These efforts include backing separatists, forming armed militias, and seizing control of Yemen's ports and islands.

The governor stressed that the occupied southern provinces are currently facing significant challenges, with citizens enduring worsening economic conditions. Al-Juraib accused the aggression coalition of using these economic struggles as a distraction from more existential threats.

He acknowledged the occupying forces' attempts to dominate living conditions but maintained that they have failed to break the national spirit. The governor emphasized that the truth is becoming apparent to the people in the occupied regions, who are increasingly aware of the dangers posed by the occupation and its methods.

Al-Juraib noted that the occupied provinces are experiencing significant social unrest, marked by continuous demonstrations and marches over the past year. These actions reflect a rejection of foreign presence and support for Yemen's solidarity with the Palestinian cause under the leadership of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi.

The governor explained that this awakening results from genuine suffering caused by resource plundering, infrastructure destruction, and control of strategic locations by the Saudi-UAE forces.

Al-Juraib identified Saudi Arabia as a historic adversary to Yemeni unity, citing its direct aggression since 2015 as part of a broader agenda to revert Yemen to a state of division. He accused the UAE of fostering internal discord through armed militias and undermining national unity.

He concluded by expressing confidence in the resilience of the southern provinces, asserting their commitment to Yemeni identity and opposition to division. Al-Juraib called on the free people of these areas to continue their struggle to reclaim sovereignty and uphold the unity for which many have sacrificed.

Reflecting on Yemen's history of overcoming colonialism and division, Al-Juraib expressed optimism that Yemen will prevail over current adversities, ensuring its unity and sovereignty remain intact despite foreign conspiracies.
