Lahj: Lahj Governor Ahmed Jarib, along with Province Undersecretary Faisal al-Faqih and al-Qabaita District Director Wahid al-Khidr, recently assessed the progress of the Damran Dam clearing project. The officials examined the efforts being made to remove flood debris, which is crucial for maintaining the dam's storage capacity and ensuring the replenishment of groundwater in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation, led by Governor Jarib, also reviewed the ongoing construction of a new local authority building and a plowing unit in the al-Shuaib area of al-Qabaita. This construction project is valued at 99 million YER and signifies an important development for the local infrastructure.
