Lahj: The Governor of Lahj, Ahmed Jareeb, has made an urgent appeal to residents of the southern governorates, cautioning them against allowing their youth to be used on the battlefronts in service of the Saudi agenda. He warned that the Saudi enemy is exploiting the region's human resources as a means to control its wealth and impose its dominance.
According to Yemen News Agency, Jareeb emphasized in a statement that the current situation represents a systematic attempt to involve the youth of the southern governorates in deadly conflicts that only benefit Saudi interests. He pointed out that while families mourn their losses, leaders who profit from these conflicts remain uninvolved and distant.
Jareeb further explained: "Your true adversary is not in Sana'a or any other front where you have been deployed. It is the Saudi enemy that exploits your natural resources and uses your sons as human shields in its conflicts against your own people."
He made a strong call for an immediate cessation of deploying southern youth to these battlefronts, emphasizing that their lives are too valuable to be sacrificed for Saudi interests. Jareeb urged unity among the southern communities to resist this exploitation, stating: "The focus must shift to the real enemy that occupies our lands and threatens our sanctities. Protect your sons from falling victim to the Saudi war. Recognize the true cost before losing your youth to battles that serve no benefit to you, while the Saudi adversary remains hidden."
