Ayal suraih: Al-Nahda Multi-Purpose Development Association was officially launched on Saturday in Ayal Suraih District, Amran Governorate, with the election of its administrative and supervisory boards. During the launch ceremony, the association's bylaws and the objectives behind its establishment were reviewed as part of efforts to support farmers and provide for their needs through an institutional framework capable of efficiently serving the agricultural sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, District Director General Mohammed Hibah emphasized that associations are a key pillar of development and nation-building, stressing the need to advance cooperative work by improving management and activating it effectively. He also called for establishing investment projects to ensure the association's sustainability, in line with the state's drive toward achieving self-sufficiency.
For his part, Khaled Al-Muayyad, Director of the Northeast Area at Bonyan Foundation, stated that Al-Nahda Association in Ayal Suraih would contribute to the development and construction process. He highlighted the importance of cooperative associations in achieving development, making use of available facilities to promote agricultural activity, and adopting community initiatives that meet the aspirations of local residents.
Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch in the governorate Ahmed Ayash noted the efforts made to prepare and establish the association, praising the cooperation of the local authority and relevant entities in supporting the initiative. Deputy Chairman of the Preparatory Committee Ahmed Abdulrahman affirmed that the association would contribute to strengthening local development. Director of the Cooperatives Department at the Office of Social Affairs and Labor Ali Al-Faqih, meanwhile, underscored the importance of institutional work in serving the people of the district.
