Launch of Basic Certificate Exams and Summer Activities in Sana’a

Sana'a: Governorate launched on Sunday the basic certificate exams and summer activities for the 1447 AH academic year.

According to Yemen News Agency, in Bani Matar District, the Deputy Ministers of Education and Scientific Research for the Basic Education Sector, Hadi Ammar, and the governor, Abdul-Mughni Dawood, inaugurated the exams and summer activities at the 21 September and Al-Zahra centers in Al-Sabaha, the Martyr Al-Suwari Center, and the Martyr Al-Ghamari Summer Center in Matnah. The deputy ministers, the governor, representatives from the Endowments and Guidance Authority led by Ahmed Majli, the provincial education sector official Talib Dahan, the district director Yahya Al-Qanous, and the mobilization officer Muttalib Al-Mata', reviewed the progress of the exams in the district.

They praised the commitment of the supervisory committees in conducting this important academic milestone, which reflects a year of dedicated effort and perseverance by students, as well as their resilience in the face of the arrogance of U.S., Israeli, Saudi, and Emirati aggression. Talib Dahan, the provincial education sector official, stated that 29,950 students are taking the basic certificate exams this year, including 16,851 male students and 13,099 female students, distributed across 263 exam centers in the governorate.

In Hamdan District, the governor's deputy for the Investment Sector, Yahya Jamaan, and the district director, Fahd Atiyah, inaugurated the exams at Al-Miqdad and Al-Zahra schools in Shumlan. Jamaan and Atiyah, accompanied by the district's education official Ali Alaban, reviewed the exams in several committees, encouraging students to focus on the questions to achieve top results.

In New Sana'a District, the governor's deputy for Administrative Units, Jibran Ghubar, inaugurated the exams and summer activities at the Lady Zainab and Dhofar Summer centers. Meanwhile, the governor's deputies for the southern sector, Abdul-Malik Al-Gharbi, and for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, inaugurated the exams in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul districts. They, along with the district director Ahmed Othman and the deputy provincial education official Amin Al-Jalal, reviewed the exams at Al-Hussein and Umm Al-Mu'minin Khadijah Al-Kubra centers.

They praised the efforts in preparing for the exams, affirming the governorate leadership's commitment to overcoming obstacles and providing a suitable environment to ensure the success of the exams and summer activities. In Arhab District, the governor's deputy, Fadl Al-Qusair, and the district director, Khalid Al-Aqeedah, inaugurated the exams. Al-Qusair and Al-Aqeedah, together with the district's education official Abdul-Jalil Awad, inspected several exam centers, urging efforts to facilitate the exams and create a smooth environment for students.

In Bani Bahloul, exams were inaugurated at the Martyrs of Bayt Watr school center, and summer courses were launched at Al-Imam Al-Hussein School in Bayt Watr, Al-Sajad in Hisn Bayt Watr, Al-Fath Al-Mubeen in Qarina, Sayyid Al-Shuhada in Ghayman, and Al-Sajad in Ghayman, in the presence of the provincial Youth and Sports Office director, Abdul-Mohsen Al-Sharif.

In the districts of Bani Hashish, Manakha, Sa'fan, Bilad Al-Rus, Khawlan, Al-Tayal, Hisn, Bani Dhabyan, Al-Haymatin (internal and external), Nahm, and Jahana, district directors and deputy education officials inaugurated the exams and summer activities in multiple centers. Together with local education officials, they reviewed the progress of the exams in several committees, highlighting the discipline of the committees and the commitment of the students, while commending the efforts of the Ministry of Education and its provincial office in ensuring proper preparation and the successful conduct of the exams.
