Khadir: The Local Council in Khadir District, in coordination with the Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society and the General Mobilization in Taiz Governorate, launched the distribution of 1,223 bags of cement and 2,000 liters of diesel to support the implementation of 12 community initiatives in the road sector in various areas of the district. According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of Khadir District, Fares Al-Jaradi, affirmed that successful development experiences have proven that the local community is the main driver of development and the most influential actor in determining its priorities and implementing its projects. He pointed out that support interventions only achieve their true impact when based on effective community initiatives capable of mobilizing local resources and efforts. Al-Jaradi explained that the community initiatives implemented in the road sector reflect the level of awareness and responsibility among the district's residents, embodying a practical model of communi ty partnership aimed at addressing service needs and promoting sustainable local development. For his part, the head of the Khadir Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, Mohammed Abduljalil, affirmed that the Society's role is to organize and coordinate community efforts and enhance cooperative work among various local components. This contributes to directing momentum towards priority projects with a direct impact on citizens' lives and ensuring the highest levels of integration between popular efforts and supporting partners. Abduljalil noted that local communities in Khadir District continue to implement numerous initiatives in the road sector and other service sectors.
