Lahj: The Al-Qabaita Multipurpose Cooperative Society, in coordination with the local authorities in the district, has launched the distribution of the first batch of cement provided by the Central Interventions Unit to complete 220 rainwater harvesting reservoirs.
According to Yemen News Agency, this support is part of the second phase of the Water Initiatives Support Project. The project aims to enhance development efforts by supporting rural communities and enabling them to access sustainable water sources. It seeks to alleviate the suffering of residents in the most needy areas by improving water supply infrastructure.
