Launch of Economic Empowerment Kit Distribution in Amran

Amran: The Al-Doroub Al-Mudee’a Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response has launched a project to distribute 89 economic empowerment kits in Kharf District, Amran Governorate. During the event, Kharf District Director, Tariq Sabr, praised the foundation’s efforts in providing humanitarian aid and called on other organizations to follow suit in alleviating community hardships.

According to Yemen News Agency, Foundation Executive Director, Mohammed Al-Asal, explained that the project aims to equip beneficiaries with skills in sewing, traditional dagger belt making, perfume and incense production, and weaving. The initiative includes 23 sewing machines, 22 weaving kits, 22 perfume and incense kits, and 22 traditional dagger belt-making kits.

Additionally, cash assistance will be provided to 89 beneficiaries, and a three-month training program will be conducted for 509 participants in various life and vocational skills.
