Launch of Eid Clothing Project Brings Relief to Hundreds of Families in Taiz

Taiz: The Sila Social Foundation in Al-Taiziyah District of Taiz Governorate launched the Eid clothing project on Saturday, funded by the 'Believers Are Brothers' Initiative. In its seventh season, the project targets 400 needy and poor families, including descendants of Bilal, across several villages in the district.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor for Development Affairs Abdulwasi Al-Shamsi emphasized the significance of such initiatives, which promote social solidarity and cohesion, reflecting values encouraged by Islam. He noted that the project, implemented through the Sila Social Foundation, aims to alleviate the suffering of poor families. This endeavor aligns with the directives of the Revolution Leader and the Supreme Political Council to support needy and underprivileged families.

Al-Shamsi also called for increased cooperation and social solidarity, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the aggression and blockade facing Yemen. He commended the charitable efforts made by philanthropists and business leaders within the community.

Yahya Al-Sulaimi, Head of the 'Believers Are Brothers' Initiative, underscored the importance of supporting vulnerable groups and bringing joy and happiness to their lives through this project.
