Marib: The Governor of Marib, Ali Tuaiman, launched today the Ramadan food basket project for the year 1447 AH, implemented by the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in the governorate, for the families of martyrs and missing persons, totaling 16 million and 700 thousand riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Tuaiman blessed the launch of the projects by the branch of the Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, which will benefit 726 families of martyrs, appreciating the organized efforts made by the authority, which reflect the spirit of social solidarity and offer the least of what is deserved by the families of the great martyrs.
For his part, the Director of the Authority's branch in the governorate, Mohammed Alwan, stated that the food basket project comes within a package of projects that the authority will implement during the month of Ramadan.
He pointed out that the food basket has been divided into in-kind baskets for families who are easily accessible, and cash baskets for families located in distant or occupied areas, at a rate of 23,000 riyals per family of a martyr.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Official of Mobilization in the governorate, Hussein Abunab, praised the efforts of the Authority for Martyrs' Families, calling for attention to the Ramadan program during the days of the holy month and focusing on charitable and benevolent deeds.
