Sana'a: Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi inaugurated on Saturday the 1447 academic year secondary school examinations in the governorate. He, along with deputies and officials, reviewed the exam process at several centers, praising the students' resilience and the dedication of educational staff despite the ongoing aggression and blockade.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor emphasized the local authority's commitment to ensuring smooth exams, supporting staff, and overcoming obstacles. Secretary-General Abdulqader Al-Jilani oversaw the launch in Bani Hushaysh, while other deputies inaugurated exams across Sanhan, Bani Bahlul, Hamdan, Bani Matar, Al-Haymah, Bilad Al-Rus, Arhab, and other districts.
Talib Dahhan, head of the governorate's exam sub-committee, reported that 21,325 students are taking the secondary exams across 142 centers, and 29,950 students are taking basic certificate exams in 263 centers, with over 8,000 educational and security personnel supervising.
All officials praised the preparation efforts, the discipline of committees, and the students' commitment, highlighting that successful exams symbolize continued educational resilience amid challenges.
