Launch of Initiative to Pave Al-Hamm Road in Utmah District, Dhamar

Sana'a: Work has begun in Utmah District, Dhamar Governorate, on an initiative to pave Al-Hamm Road in the Sama'a area, with support from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit. The road, implemented in cooperation and coordination with the local authority and the Utmah Agricultural Cooperative Association, has a total length of one kilometer.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Public Works Branch, Engineer Ahmed Salah, and the head of the Utmah Cooperative Association, Abdul-Nasser Al-Shamma', stressed the importance of road projects in facilitating citizens' movement and ensuring service delivery. They praised the community initiative and the support of the Interventions Unit in executing the project.

Meanwhile, Engineer Adel Al-Shamahi from the Central Interventions Unit explained that supporting the initiative with cement, diesel, and a compression machine for stone cutting comes in line with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership to achieve development in remote areas and improve the quality and sustainability of rural road services.
