Taiz: The office of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance in Taiz Governorate today launched a project to honor and host 223 wounded and disabled victims of the aggression, in loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices they inscribed in defense of the homeland, its sovereignty, and independence.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is implemented in coordination with the Future of Yemen Association and the Wounded Foundation, under the slogan "Unwavering Resolve," at a cost of four million four hundred sixty thousand riyals, within the framework of the humanitarian and charitable programs and projects implemented by the Endowments Office in the governorate during the month of Ramadan.
During the launch, the Director of the Endowments and Guidance Office in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Mulayki, affirmed that the honoring project comes within the pastoral and humanitarian programs implemented by the Authority, pointing out that the wounded and disabled represent a living symbol of sacrifice and altruism, having offered their blood and parts of their bodies in the cause of God in defense of land and honor.
He noted that loyalty to them is a national and moral duty that requires continued care and attention to them in appreciation of their great giving.
For his part, the official of the Social Unit in the governorate, Hames Al-Habbari, pointed to the great status enjoyed by the wounded as "living martyrs," noting that their steadfastness and resilience embody verses of patience and faith in the reality of life.
He affirmed that the care and services provided to the wounded remain little compared to the magnitude of their sacrifices and the greatness of their giving, appreciating the pure blood and deep wounds they offered in defense of the homeland and its dignity.
In turn, the Head of the Care Division in Taiz and Lahj governorates, Mukhtar Al-Maghribi, appreciated the role of the Endowments Office and the local authority in caring for the wounded and disabled victims of the aggression, affirming that this benevolence embodies the spirit of national responsibility towards those who sacrificed to protect the homeland and safeguard its security and stability.
He pointed out that the wounded embodied the highest meanings of benevolence and sacrifice, and that the Yemeni people will not forget the heroism and sacrifices they offered, noting that the homeland's enjoyment of steadfastness and resilience is the fruit of those great sacrifices.
Al-Maghribi touched upon that caring for the wounded and disabled comes as a translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to care for them and provide them with necessary support.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Mosques and Banks Department, Askar Al-Husseini, and the Head of the Estates Division, Omar Al-Kamel, at the Endowments Office in the governorate, affirmed that the Yemeni people, thanks to God and their steadfastness, managed to break the power of the aggression and foil its schemes through their resilience in the fields of confrontation over the past years.
They pointed to the importance of honoring the wounded and disabled victims confronting the aggression in gratitude for the great sacrifices they made in defense of the homeland, affirming that caring for this group and paying attention to it represents a religious, national, and moral duty, and embodies the values of loyalty and appreciation for those who inscribed epics of steadfastness and sacrifice in the fields of honor and dignity.
For their part, the wounded and disabled expressed their appreciation to the revolutionary and political leadership for their attention and care, noting the efforts of the Endowments and Guidance Office in the governorate in honoring them.
