Al hodeidah: The Local Council of Al-Salif District in Al Hodeidah province inaugurated on Tuesday the events commemorating Prophet's Birth for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the district's Mobilization Officer, Abdulaziz Al-Harouni, described the celebration of the Prophet's birthday as a significant spiritual occasion to draw inspiration from the great values and principles brought by the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), foremost among them mercy, justice, and the unity of the nation. He emphasized that celebrating this occasion reflects a strong bond with the Muhammadan message and sincere belonging to it.
Al-Harouni pointed out that Yemenis have always been at the forefront of supporters of the Prophet and his just cause. He highlighted that the firm stance toward the Palestinian cause is an integral part of the faith identity of the Yemeni people, and that supporting the people of Gaza is a religious and moral duty.
He also noted that the Mawlid celebration embodies the approach of supporting truth and confronting falsehood. He stressed that this occasion comes amid severe challenges facing the Islamic Ummah, necessitating the strengthening of unity, drawing lessons of steadfastness and resilience from the Prophet's biography in confronting aggression, siege, and in supporting the causes of the oppressed.
