Al-bayda: Activities and events commemorating the blessed Mawlid al-Nabi (the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family) were launched on Monday in the districts of Rada'a in Al-Bayda province. During the inauguration ceremony, the Governor's Deputy, Saleh Al-Jawfi, emphasized the importance of reviving the memory of the birth of the best of mankind as a pivotal event in Islamic history, reinforcing noble values of love, mercy, and justice brought by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He noted that celebrating the Mawlid embodies sincere belonging to the Muhammadan message.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jawfi highlighted Yemen's steadfast and principled stance on the Palestinian cause, affirming that the Yemeni people's support for Gaza is both a religious and moral duty. He stressed that commemorating the Prophet's birth revives the approach of supporting truth and confronting falsehood, adding that the people of the governorate celebrate this occasion with faithful awareness, reflecting their adherence to authentic Islam and continued resilience in facing challenges.

He pointed out that Yemenis have always been at the forefront of supporting the Prophet (PBUH) and his banner, past and present, drawing from his noble life the greatest lessons of steadfastness and perseverance.

The event, attended by the Governor's Deputy Nasser Al-Aji, featured cultural activist Ali Al-Aqhoumi, who discussed the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birth. He emphasized the need to honor this occasion, which reconnects the nation with the source of its pride and dignity, urging inspiration from the Prophet's biography in building societies and reforming souls.

Al-Aqhoumi noted that this great religious occasion comes amid global conspiracies and suspicious Arab silence toward the crimes committed by the enemy against the Palestinian people. He described the Mawlid as a renewed spiritual milestone to embody a strong connection to the Prophet's eternal message and to uphold values of justice, mercy, and unity.

He further regarded the Mawlid as an opportunity to strengthen Yemeni unity in confronting aggression and siege, drawing lessons of resilience and steadfastness from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in supporting the oppressed and repelling aggressors.
