Leaders Inspect Programs at Al-Firdaws Summer Center in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Nabeh Nasser, and the Deputy Minister of Education, Teaching, and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Da'is, conducted an inspection visit to the Al-Firdaws Model Summer Center in Shu'ub District, Sana'a, to assess the progress of its programs and activities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was accompanied by Abdullah Al-Razhi, the Deputy Minister of Youth for the Youth Sector and head of the technical committee for summer activities and courses, and Hadi Ammar, the Deputy Minister of Education for Basic Education. They evaluated student discipline and engagement with the center's offerings and were briefed by the center's director, Ibrahim Al-Mu'ayyad, on the implementation plan.

A film highlighting the significance of technical and vocational education in building youth capacities and connecting them to the labor market was presented during the visit. The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized the role of summer courses as educational platforms that foster awareness, enhance skills, and serve as a defense against misguided cultures.

He praised the courses for reflecting the vision of the revolutionary and political leadership in nurturing a generation equipped with insight and awareness, ready to take on national responsibilities and contribute to development efforts.

Dr. Hatem Al-Da'is highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Ministries of Youth and Education to promote awareness and knowledge among students. He noted that the focus on summer courses aligns with the directives of Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to spiritually and leadership-wise rehabilitate youth, positioning them as key players in addressing future challenges.

He further emphasized that prioritizing technical and vocational education equips future generations with essential practical skills, supporting the nation's strategic goal of achieving self-sufficiency.
