Sana'a: The leadership of the Ministry of Information and its affiliated institutions today visited the tombs of martyrs President Saleh Ali al-Samad, Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi and his fellow ministers, and Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Ghamari, as part of commemorating the Annual Martyrs' Anniversary for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation included Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Policies and Content Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami, along with leaders and staff from media institutions affiliated with the ministry. They laid wreaths on the martyrs' tombs and recited Al-Fatiha for their souls and for all the martyrs of the nation who fell while confronting global arrogance, defending the homeland, and supporting the Palestinian people in the battle of 'The Promised Victory and Sacred Struggle.'
During the visit, the sacrifices and heroic acts of the martyrs were praised, emphasizing that they remain a source of pride for the people of Yemen and are honored in history. The Deputy Minister, Undersecretary, and media leadership also visited the mausoleum of martyr Al-Samad and the Government Martyrs' Exhibition, which includes photographs of the martyred Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi, his fellow ministers, and martyr Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Ghamari.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti underscored the importance of visiting the graves of those who fell while confronting aggression, honoring their legacy and upholding the noble path and goals they pursued. He highlighted the nation's liberation from foreign dominance, attributed to the revolutionary leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the sacrifices of the martyrs. He renewed the commitment to continue their mission through collective effort.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information expressed that these martyrs represented a school of ethics, values, sacrifice, and steadfastness. He affirmed the commitment to follow their path and uphold their principles, expressing readiness for sacrifice in the cause of God. He added that the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people will remain deeply rooted in the nation's conscience, serving as lessons of giving, sacrifice, and devotion for future generations.
The leadership of the Information Ministry also visited exhibitions honoring the martyrs of the Military Police units, the Third Military Region, the martyrs from the southern governorates, the Support and Logistics Authority units, and the Military Medical Services Directorate.
