Hajjah: The local authority in Hajjah Governorate, Washhah District, and the General Mobilization mourned Sheikh Hamoud Ahmed Jahiz, who passed away at the age of 63. The statement of condolence praised the virtues of the deceased, the father of the martyred Major General Nashwan Jahiz, commander of the Battle of Al-Durayhimi, and his role in mobilizing support for the fields of honor and dignity in defense of the homeland, its security, and stability.
According to Yemen News Agency, the statement also noted the deceased's contributions to resolving disputes, reconciling differences, and strengthening the cohesion of the home front, considering his passing a loss for the governorate, Washhah District, and the Jahiz family.
The statement expressed sincere condolences to the sons of the deceased, Major General Hashid, Dr. Faris, Majid, Abdullah, Ali, Farwan, and Muhammad, and to the Bani Jahiz tribe, the people of Washah, and the entire governorate on this loss, asking Allah Almighty to have mercy on him, grant him paradise, and give his family and loved ones patience and solace.
