Local Authority of Aden Commemorates Prophet’s Birthday with a Speech Event

Aden: The local authority in Aden Governorate marked the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday with a commemorative speech event.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, which was attended by several officials and social figures, Aden Governor Tariq Salam highlighted the importance of such occasions in drawing inspiration from the life and noble path of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family. He noted that celebrating the Prophet's birth provides an opportunity to renew commitment to the human values brought by Islam and emphasized by the Prophet, including mercy, tolerance, justice, and other virtuous qualities.

Governor Salam stressed that commemorating this occasion reflects the Yemeni people's strong adherence to their faith identity and underscores the need to follow the Prophet's example in facing the challenges confronting the nation. He called on all residents of the governorate to actively participate in the central events of the commemoration.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Numani, a member of the Political Bureau of the Southern Revolutionary Movement, stated that the Prophet's birthday holds profound significance for Yemenis, who have always been at the forefront of supporting the Messenger Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. He underlined the necessity of unity in confronting the enemies of the nation, pointing out that the current moment offers an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen internal cohesion, stand united against global tyranny and arrogance, and foil the conspiracies of Zionist and American agents.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Ali Al-Kurdi emphasized the importance of commemorating this occasion as an act of obedience to God, highlighting the need to embody solidarity, extend kindness to the poor and needy, and uphold the values and morals taught by the Prophet.
