Kuhlan afar: The Secretary General of the Local Council in Hajjah Governorate, Ismail Al-Muhaime, and the Director of the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Mahmoud Wahban, inspected today the level of compliance with prices in Kuhlan Afar District.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Muhaime, Wahban, the Director of the Media Office, Ibrahim Hashim, and the District Director, Bassim Humaidan, reviewed the traders' compliance with the price list and weights, the boycott of American and Israeli goods, as well as the supply situation of basic food commodities and their availability.
The Local Secretary of the governorate affirmed the necessity for traders to adhere to the price list and the boycott of American and Israeli goods, and to intensify field visits to achieve supply discipline. He urged the Office of Economy and Industry to intensify market monitoring, control prices and weights, and prevent any manipulation or monopoly of basic commodities, contributing to the protection of citizens.
Meanwhile, Wahban stated that the campaigns carried out by the office and its branches in the districts aim to monitor prices, the level of compliance with price display, encourage local products, and monitor boycotted goods. He affirmed the commitment to addressing price violations and referring violators to the competent authorities to take action against them, calling on citizens to cooperate with the office, report any violations, and support efforts in this regard.
