Dhamar: Dhamar Governor, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, inaugurated today at al-Balasi Specialized Hospital a project to localize bone-to-ear transplantation for the treatment of hearing impairment resulting from congenital defects in the outer and middle ear.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the inauguration, Governor al-Bukhaiti considered the project a qualitative leap in the level of specialized medical services in Yemen. This initiative reflects a serious commitment to localizing modern treatment technologies and alleviating the suffering of patients. The launch of this project follows the hospital's success in localizing cochlear implantation and performing more than 100 successful cochlear implant surgeries.
