Mahweet General Mobilization Hosts Seminar to Honor Martyr of the Qur’an

Mahweet: The General Mobilization Office in Mahweet governorate organized a cultural seminar to mark the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur'an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants at the seminar highlighted the significant role of the Martyr of the Qur'an in spreading Qur'anic thought and reinforcing faith-based and national identity. They praised his dedication, steadfastness, and contributions to religion and the homeland.

The seminar emphasized the importance of ongoing cultural and awareness activities by the General Mobilization to deepen Qur'anic values among youth, strengthen faith-based and social identity, and enhance national culture and Qur'anic awareness throughout society.

Attendees reviewed the life and achievements of the Martyr of the Qur'an in Qur'anic education and the dissemination of religious knowledge. Visual presentations documented key stages of his life and journey, illustrating his impact on Yemeni society and inspiring youth to follow his example.

Speakers at the seminar stressed that commemorating the Martyr of the Qur'an serves as a continuous reminder to youth and society of the importance of adhering to Qur'anic and faith-based values, and preserving the Qur'anic project as a civilizational endeavor benefiting the nation.

The event also highlighted the necessity of sustaining cultural and awareness events and encouraging educational and community institutions to bolster their Qur'anic and cultural programs, in alignment with the General Mobilization's vision in the governorate to support Qur'anic education and faith-based upbringing.
