Mahweet Launches Waste Removal Operations in City Streets


Mahweet: The Public Works Sector in Mahweet governorate carried out waste removal operations on Thursday along city streets, coinciding with ongoing road maintenance and repair works implemented by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges as part of the city’s infrastructure improvement plan. Public Works official Yahya al-Qadhi stated that the cleanup aims to support maintenance teams, enhance traffic flow, and preserve the city’s aesthetic appearance through coordinated efforts with local authorities and community cooperation to maintain street cleanliness and improve essential public services.



According to Yemen News Agency, the waste removal operations are designed to complement the broader infrastructure improvement initiatives currently underway in Mahweet. The General Corporation for Roads and Bridges is actively engaged in road maintenance and repair, which is expected to significantly contribute to better traffic management and safety for residents.
