Mahweet: Mahweet province witnessed on Friday 94 rallies and sit-ins under the slogan 'With Gaza. we will not accept the shame of betrayal,' as participants denounced Israeli massacres, collective punishment, and the international community's silence over atrocities in Gaza. Demonstrators gathered across multiple districts, including Shibam Kawkaban, al-Tawila, al-Rujm, al-Madina, al-Khabt, Bani Saad, Hufash, and Malhan, chanting against Israeli crimes and international complicity.
According to Yemen News Agency, local authorities, security officials, and provincial leaders participated alongside the crowds in expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people. Protesters stressed that no one can justify inaction in defending Palestine, declaring that the blood of Gaza's children marks a lasting shame for the failing international community. They expressed readiness and determination to engage in the 'promised conquest and sacred jihad' in support of Gaza.
The rallies condemned the suspicious silence of Arab and Islamic regimes in the face of U.S.- and Europe-backed Israeli aggression against the Palestinians. Participants reaffirmed that Yemenis' weekly mass mobilizations stem from religious, humanitarian, and ethical responsibility and commitment to aiding the oppressed Palestinians.
A statement issued by Mahweet rallies stressed that resisting the Israeli enemy entity and engaging in jihad, grounded in the teachings of the Quran, has proven the most correct and wise path over nearly two years of Gaza aggression. The statement emphasized steadfastness in following Allah's path, continuing the sacred struggle against Israeli crimes, supporting Gaza's resistance, and confronting Israel with strength and confidence.
The rallies hailed Palestinian resilience and blessed recent successful military operations, noting that the Israeli enemy has achieved no significant victories despite its crimes. The statement warned Saudi Arabia, the U.S., the U.K., and any other actors against attempts to protect Israeli maritime routes, asserting that such efforts will fail and bring shame and defeat.
