Hodeidah: Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for the Roads Sector, Engineer Ali Rajeh, and the Chairman of the Land Transport Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, today inspected the progress of emergency maintenance work on the Bajel-Al-Kadan-Al-Dahhi Road in Hodeidah.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Haifi, Rajeh, and Al-Muayyad reviewed the work being carried out by emergency teams that have begun repairing damage caused by rain and floods. The inspection aimed to ensure the maintenance work is proceeding effectively to restore the road's functionality and safety.
The teams on the ground are focused on addressing the damage to prevent further disruptions to the transportation network in the region. The road, which is a vital link for the movement of goods and people, was significantly impacted by recent adverse weather conditions, necessitating prompt intervention.
