Al-hudaydah: The coast of Al-Hudaydah city's corniche witnessed today majestic maritime shows and a massive celebratory evening featuring light displays and extensive fireworks, rejoicing in the commemoration of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship). According to Yemen News Agency, the maritime shows were attended by the Governor of Al-Hudaydah, Abdullah Atifi, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, and a number of deputies and executive, military, and security leaders. Dozens of fishermen's boats and vessels lined up in parade formations along the coast, adorned with lights, flags, and expressive slogans, creating a magnificent display embodying the pride of the people of Tihama in their faith-based identity and their connection to the path of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). During the celebration, Governor Atifi praised the level of organization and the wide participation in the maritime shows, considering the commemoration of Yawm al-Wilayah as a remembranc e of a pivotal event in the nation's history, and an annual station to renew the covenant with the path of the Holy Quran and sincere allegiance to the Messenger of God and the banners of guidance, as a safety valve and source of dignity for Muslims in facing the challenges of the age and the forces of arrogance. For his part, the head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea, Hussein Al-Attas, explained that these shows, organized annually by the authority, reflect the depth of the emotional connection of the people of Tihama to the sea, and the significance of adhering to the righteous path. He noted that the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah is the day of the perfection of blessing and the completion of religion, and the impenetrable fortress for protecting the nation from the conspiracies of enemies. He considered the stances of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and striking the depths of the Zionist entity, as a li ving extension of the path of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in supporting truth and confronting tyranny. The shows carried a clear message to the forces of arrogance that Yemen's territorial waters are guarded by the vigilance and faith of its men, who are connected to the path of divine guardianship (wilayah).
