March & Solidarity Rally in Sanhan Marks Two Years Since ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’

Sana’a: The General Mobilization in the Sanhan and Bani Bahlul district of Sana’a Governorate organized on Thursday a march on foot and a solidarity rally for mobilization forces in the Al-Sharqi and Al-Furawat localities to mark the second anniversary of the launch of Operation ‘Al-Aqsa Flood.’

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the march carried the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and held banners expressing the strong bond between the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples. They chanted slogans of dignity, honor and eternal remembrance for the martyrs, voiced their high state of readiness and combat preparedness to confront any escalation by the criminal Israeli enemy.

A statement issued by the march and rally affirmed Yemen’s steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian people and pledged to continue making great sacrifices, whatever their cost, until a great victory is achieved and the Palestinian people obtain their full legitimate rights.

The statement referred to the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Mohammad Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff, and all his comrades – described as the ‘Martyrs of Al-Aqsa’ – saying their sacrifice will only strengthen the Yemeni people’s resolve, power and determination to confront the Israeli enemy.

The statement also congratulated the Palestinian people on the victory achieved in Operation ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ in the Gaza Strip, and praised the steadfastness of all the people of Gaza, who have demonstrated to the world their right to land and to live with dignity and honor.

Finally, the statement reiterated full support for the options endorsed by the Leader of the Revolution in backing the Palestinian people and their brave resistance – options that, the statement said, have proven correct and have accomplished their aim of stopping Zionist and American massacres in the region.
