Al-bayda: The Martyr Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari Pigeon Race was recently organized by the Al-Bayda Youth Club, under the guidance of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office. The event paid tribute to the legacy of the esteemed martyr by hosting a race that spanned from Al-Bayda city to the districts of Dhi Naeem and Rad’a, covering a distance of 50 kilometers by air. A total of 350 pigeons participated in the event, showcasing a vibrant competition.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was graced by the presence of Nasser Al-Ghashami, Director of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office, and Abdullah Al-Liswas, President of the Al-Bayda Youth Club. Both officials lauded the successful organization of the race and the dedicated efforts of all participants, which ensured the event’s success. They highlighted the significance of honoring Chief of Staff Martyr Al-Ghamari, who is revered for his national contributions.
The officials emphasized that naming the race after Martyr Al-Ghamari serves as a testament to the ongoing commitment to uphold the values and sacrifices of martyrs who defended the homeland during the battle of “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad.”
